Donald Trump is ‘red-hot favorite’ to win in Iowa, New Hampshire

British bookies see a banner month ahead for Donald Trump.
The Republican presidential candidate is the “red-hot favorite” to win the Iowa Caucuses (Feb. 1) and the New Hampshire primary (Feb. 9), says Graham Sharpe, spokesman for William Hill PLC, a leading British bookmaker. William Hill has Trump as the 1-2 favorite in Iowa and the 1-4 favorite in New Hampshire.
“The Trump bandwagon shows little sign of a slowdown,” says Sharpe.

The news is a little more mixed for Democratic contender Hillary Clinton. William Hill has her as the 4-9 favorite in Iowa. But the bookmaker has Clinton rival Bernie Sanders as the leading choice in New Hampshire with 2-9 odds.

Overall, William Hill has Trump as the 5-6 favorite to win the Republican nomination and Clinton as the 1-6 favorite to win the Democratic nod.
And to be our next president? The bookmaker still says it’s Clinton’s race to lose. William Hill has her as the 8-11 favorite to be our 45th president. The other top contenders: Trump (3-1), Marco Rubio (6-1), Bernie Sanders (6-1), Michael Bloomberg (16-1), Ted Cruz (20-1), Jeb Bush (25-1) and Chris Christie (66-1).
