More than 120 flights cancelled at Orlando International Airport due to severe winter weather - Orlando Sentinel

Orlando International Airport canceled more than 120 flights on Sunday and officials urged travelers to avoid heading to the areas hit by the severe winter weather.
So-called Winter Storm Jonas pummeled much of the Eastern Coast over the weekend, leaving more than 35 inches of snow in its wake in many cities. After the blizzard swept across the Northeast, the National Weather Service advised residents to use caution as they dealt with the aftermath.
Sunday marks the third day that the storm nixed incoming and outgoing flights to Orlando International Airport. On Saturday, at least 200 trips were canceled.
Flights to and from such cities as Charlotte, Memphis, Nashville, Richmond, and Washington, D.C., were canceled Sunday.
In a statement released Sunday night, officials asked travelers to check for delay or cancellation information before getting to the airport, and to be patient.
